Return Policy

30-Day Return Policy

At Malibu Access Control, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy under the following conditions:

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Return Window: Equipment can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Condition: The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Items that have been used, damaged, or are missing parts are not eligible for a return.

2. Return Shipping Costs

  • The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs when returning the equipment. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

3. Return Process

4. Refunds

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

  • Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

Warranty Coverage

1. Malibu Module

  • Warranty Period: 2 Years

  • Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

2. Controller Boards

  • Warranty Period: 5 Years

  • Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of five years from the date of purchase.

3. Vision Camera Line

  • Warranty Period: 2 Years

  • Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

4. Paramont Series Cameras

  • Warranty Period: 3 Years

  • Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three years from the date of purchase.

5. All Other Products

  • Warranty Period: 1 Year

  • Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Provide Order Number:

    • The original order number must be provided when making a warranty claim. This is necessary to verify the purchase and determine the eligibility of the claim.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Any issues caused by non-compliance with installation or operating instructions.

Additional Terms

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  • The warranty period begins from the date of purchase, as indicated on the original order.
